Leonid Bajenov, MD, DSc, Professor, Republican
Specialised Centre of Surgery, Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. Dr. Bajenov
published more than 300 scientific works. He is currently conducting clinical
trials of Coley Fluid.
Zuhal Butuner, OD, MSc, MBA is a clinical
development advisor and has experience in both the pharmaceutical and medical
device sectors. Her tenure has included senior management and consultancy
roles at Biogen, Controlled Delivery Systems, Bausch & Lomb Pharma and QLT Inc.
and has been involved in the submission and approval of numerous INDs, 510Ks and
one NDA. Dr. Butuner has been involved in clinical development plans globally
and has directed clinical trials in both North America and Europe.
Peter Coy, M.D., is a retired radiation oncologist,
formerly director of the Victoria Cancer Centre and clinical assistant professor
at the University of British Columbia. As chair of the lung cancer sub-committee
of the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Committee, Dr. Coy
was involved in the completion of five multi institutional clinical trials in
lung cancer using combinations of surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and
immunotherapy.
Hal Gunn, M.D., is a co-founder and chief executive
officer of InspireHealth, Vancouver, BC, a non-profit integrative cancer care
centre funded by the Medical Services Plan of BC, Foundations and individuals
interested in supporting integrative care. Dr. Gunn and other physicians at
InspireHealth have used bacterial vaccines in the treatment of cancer, and has a
clinical appointment with the University of British Columbia School of Medicine.
Kenneth Wilson, M.D., is a medical oncologist at the
Vancouver Island Cancer Centre and a clinical Professor of Medicine at the
University of British Columbia. Dr. Wilson has published more than 150 papers
and communications, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology
and the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists.
